En lo que esperamos la última temporada de Game of Thrones, Johnnie Walker promete ahogar nuestras penas. La marca acaba de anunciar un scotch whisky edición especial White Walker.

Y sí. La marca que ha tomado el arte de caminar para hacer su campaña decidió incorporar  los caminantes blancos de la serie para una nueva movida.

No han especificado si se tratará de un destilado especial o si sólo la botella será distinta. Lo que sí aclararon es que la línea será lanzada en otoño de este año, en anticipación del estreno de la temporada en primavera 2019.

Ya han habido vinos y cervezas conmemorativas de la serie, pero es la primera vez que un destilado se une. Asimismo, Johnnie Walker ha tenido gran crecimiento debido a sus recientes campañas con otros materiales audiovisuales, como Blade Runner 2049 (2017).

Johnnie Walker Black Label The Director’s Cut, limited edition bottled for the Blade Runner 2049 movie. Been eyeing this bottling since I saw it in the movie. The bottle itself is beautiful though. It’s the same bottle you see in the movie, and I love how the packaging (and description of the whisky) was customised to include elements from the movie. Haven’t tasted it yet, but it’s an original blend made just for this bottling. And at 49% ABV (2049, geddit?), I’m really curious to try it. Replacing the brands signature Striding Man logo, the Jane Walker icon will debut on the special-edition bottling, which will be released in the US next month, to coincide with Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day. What you might not know about the Whisky Wisemen.. Is that we have a very large female following and are constantly growing our «Women and Whisky» tastings/events like crazy. What’s even better about this bottle is that Diageo has also announced that it will be donating $1 for every bottle of the Jane Walker special-edition, to organizations that champion women’s causes, with a total donation of up to $250,000, including a donation of $150,000 to the Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony Statue Fund and its Monumental Women campaign.
