There is a force at work to make Princess Leia an official @disney princess! A Utah man started a petition on change.org asking The Walt Disney Company to hold a ceremony inducting Leia as the newest Disney princess. So far, it has more than 46,000 signatures! Cody Christensen says, "We feel that it is only fitting for Disney to do away with the rule that an official Disney princess must be animated and make Leia a full-fledged princess." Christensen is responding to the surprising death of Carrie Fisher, who played Leia. As of yet, there is no response from Disney, our parent company.
